Damages awarded to Japan's MeToo symbol over defamatory tweet likes
- superchroma 4y agopeople seem pretty pissed in the comments. From what I've heard, any act to besmirch someone's reputation, even by telling the truth, is something that can be sued for in Japan. Not surprising, then, that this happens. The awarded damages amount seems fairly nominal, however.
