It's hard to imagine how Snap has justified their expenses up until now. Unfortunately lots of employees will be hurt the most. Snapchat had explosive growth in the beginning and just didn't capitalize on that momentum very well. They more or less did a whole lot of nothing with all of the money that was thrown their way.
