Amazon takes a cut of every product sold on their store. They can give their own products a pricing advantage by reducing the platform fee.
- mabbo 4y agoThey don't even need to. The money all goes to the same place. They can just "take a loss" in the division making the product where the loss is the fee they paid to the other division of Amazon. Then they can claim they're playing fair.
