The US has probably the highest wages, then for example EU has lower wages and generally more protection, but then again you can go to china and have even lower wages and even less protection.
- darth_avocado 4y agoRight but both of us know the context of this conversation. I clearly specified we’re not talking about minimum wage jobs. Software engineering jobs in China do tend to pay quite a bit.
- tpxl 4y agoMedian Software Engineer salaries in China seem to be lower than median wages in the UK and Germany. Your point does not stand to scrutiny.
- darth_avocado 4y agoMedian cost of living is also much lower in China. Salary as compared to cost of living is what you need to compare.
