I run a service that sends email. Right now I am relying on domain reputation or leasing IPs from providers with high reputation. It would be nice if I could actually own an IPv4 IP at lower prices. he smallest bundles are ~$10k but that is out of range of my very small business or personal use. Maybe one day.

It might be worth it even purely as an investment. Especially if you're specifically focused on maintaining a good reputation on the IPs, that could increase the value even more over time.
