But if less people have cars (say every 10 people share a single car), then the energy used to build cars diminishes.
- modeless 15y agoThe energy used to make a car is dwarfed by the energy it uses on the road over its lifetime.
- loboman 15y agoThat's one car. What about the 10 cars this car is representing, if it's right that 10 people share the same car? (a la zipcar). It would be good to get the data about energy consumption for car building, to answer this.
