This is why I hope Google will license their technology only to all-electric cars. Both technologies are disruptive, and they might as well hit 2 birds with one stone.
- melling 15y agoElectric cars might not become the norm for another decade. The technology is still nascent and it will improve significantly over the next decade. Also, why would you want to restrict an improvement that could benefit gas powered cars too? A self-driving car would probably be more efficient than a human driver. Fewer traffic jams would be less wasted fuel.
