What is so hard to understand about the fact that this is for you and not necessarily for everyone?
- wilg 4y agoThat's not hard to understand. I just think it's probably true for most people, not necessarily true for everyone. Plus, I'm interested if the person I'm replying to actually thinks it's _better_ than a Mac or just "also good".

I guess mostly because of its form factor (I can sit on a couch, no need to keep anything on my lap, I can adjust viewing positions easily) and the touchscreen input (to me it’s more immediate than working with the pointer). It’s subtle; obviously you can sit with a laptop on a couch too, and touchpad can be intuitive as well. Still, for me it adds up to iPad’s UX being more approachable, more hands on, and more natural.
