I was using an iOS 6 device as a daily driver until April, 2022, then moved to iOS 15. The typing experience on iOS 6, and cursor placement/word selection, is so much better than iOS 15. I hate typing on my iOS 15 device. The whole “hold the spacebar” mechanic is inferior to how cursor positioning worked in earlier versions. (I had a short stint using a “burner” Android phone back in September and that did make me pine for iOS. Even iOS 15’s keyboard was better than whatever Android version that phone was using.)
