Does anyone know what tools are used to make the visualizations? They're silky smooth and work just as well on mobile as desktop. The elements are just a <canvas> element so I'm not sure how they're populated. Edit: Oh, I think the answer is 6493 lines of artisanally hand-crafted javascript + WebGl.
