If this is the desired outcome, wouldn't it make more sense to make voting on issues a core part of a bug tracking system? "Number of attempted submissions" seems far too worthwhile a datum to only obtain a noisy version of as an emergent property if (and only if) you have the right configuration.
- imgabe 4y agoIf you're using github or gitlab, you probably don't have any control over whether or not voting is implemented in the issue tracking system.
- serial_dev 4y agoIssues can be sorted by reactions. Even though it's not as perfect of a measurement as upvotes, and it's not as easily discoverable by users, it's close enough.
