That chart is ridiculous comparing lifetime Switch sales against consoles that are only two years old.
Do you have a source for the statement that xbox hardware is sold at a loss?
Finally, the clear and obvious win for MS in the console space is their Xbox Game Pass subscription.

Xbox game pass cost them money, it's not a sustainable business model, it's the bastardization of gaming, we'll see how it performs in the future when they'll stop pumping money into it to attract studios/users Cloud gaming is the future, so that strategy could be a win for them, BUT, it's a very distant future, the current infrastructure doesn't permit it, it's very niche
