I think Google/Android still use a "simple lookup" dictionary (or similar) that updates based on your own behavior, while Apple's suggestions are sometimes non-sensical, and harder to correct (happens to me when typing domains ending in ".xyz" a lot - they get autocorrected to ".cuz")
