First line of article: > Apple today announced an updated Apple TV and, along with it, a new Siri remote that has a USB-C port for charging rather than Lightning.

I wonder if I will be able to buy just the remote and if it will work on the prior gen Apple TV 4k.

    You can and they’re $59.

    > It is included with the new Apple TV 4K, or can be purchased separately for $59 (US) starting today, and is compatible with all generations of Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD.

USB-C everywhere! Kill the legacy, outdated lightning jack

Who cares? Will it run Linux or not?
• dragon-hn 4y ago
