This simple equation will change your life:
n=((y-1920)-a)/(0.25*a)
where y is the current year (e.g., 2022), a is your age in years, and n is the number of careers you have ahead of you.
Quit!
- awestroke 4y agoSo in the year 3000, a 20-year old has over 200 careers ahead of them?
- abrax3141 4y agoYes.
- awestroke 4y agoSounds exhausting
- abrax3141 4y agoNot really. By then either we’ll live to 300 (or potentially forever, depending on how you define living), and/or have essentially auto-executing micro-factories and perfect markets so ideas become products with little effort, or we’ll all be batteries for our AI overlords, in which case this discussion is moot.
