This is such a disingenuous use of the word “investigation”. They are “investigating” whether they should start a law suit. So this is not an investigation, it’s somewhere between “due diligence” and a PR stunt. I very much disagree with the idea of a law suit that seeks to establish ML training as not being fair use. It is an utterly foolish thing for them to wish for.
