IntelliJ reindexes existing jdks and the whole spring ecosystem on my system, daily.
I think their developers have no idea how it works either and just gave up some time after the useless shared indices came out.
- miskin 4y agoDo you have enabled "Public shared indexes"? It should be able to download pre-built indexes for both JDK and many Maven libraries.
- Traubenfuchs 4y agoIt's on. I just switched to an IntelliJ window that hasn't been used for a few days and -indexing!
