  It is disappointing to see that iOS 16 continues to have the same issues with data leaks outside an active VPN tunnel as previous versions of the operating system. Even though Apple has introduced the Lockdown mode feature as an optional security measure, it does not appear to be effective in preventing these types of data leaks. This is a serious problem for users who are at risk of being targeted by cyberattacks, as their confidential information could be exposed to ISPs, governments, and other organizations
