- moistly 4y agoUntil the bearings wear, like my neighbour’s whirlybird attic vent. When it blows hard, I hear that thing in my house; dunno how he can ignore it. I suppose, though, that solar panels & substructures aren’t silent either, in heavy winds. Could whistle pretty badly.
