Genuinely curious: for what reason?
- joshxyz 4y agoFilipino here. it's a slang term for dimsum food! haha. We spell it as siomai though.

- faitswulff 4y agoShumai is a Mandarin Chinese romanization of the name of a dim sum dish. Dim sum in general is a southern / Cantonese tradition. It’s typically siumai in Cantonese.
