Not really, since the current topic is about the internet, and that's a global thing.
Bars are local.
Now, if the internet was more sectionalized like how China has their country firewalled, and North Korea for that matter; then your point would hold water.
But we don't have such a system, so your point holds zero water.
I merely used bars as an example of where children are not allowed to be in, because generally speaking; most of the world agrees on this sort of matter. Just because a few do things differently (and erroneously at that) doesn't mean we should suddenly do things their way as well.
Same idea applies to the internet and spying on client side devices. Just because the UK and Europe are considering doing so, doesn't mean the rest of us should. And we are correct for calling them out on trying to implement such a thing, because they are backwards for doing so.
Now, you and me are done on this topic; because now it's getting to a point where the rules of this site are definitely being toed if not breached. Especially by you, and I would rather keep myself on the better side of that line.
You have a nice day.
- grecy 4y agoYou are suggesting banning children from the internet all around the world, which I am pointing out would be the same as banning children from bars all around the world. Both are Equally non starters because you’re talking about enforcing one set of laws all around the world. Your suggestion can not work.
