>269 All procedures were performed in a biosafety level 3 (BSL3) facility at the National >270 Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories of the Boston University using biosafety protocols >271 approved by the institutional biosafety committee (IBC). The fact that they are doing this after the last couple of years is terrible and should make us all start thinking that whole areas of expertise should be severely purged and regulated. But the fact that they are doing it on a BSL3 laboratory rather than a BSL4 makes it even worse.
