I agree on most of the bullet points.
As a Software Architect (the SRE mirror role :) I am following https://12factor.net/ https://12factor.net/ and that guidelines simplified a lot my CI/CD pipelines.
Helm + K8s is complex but you can easily enable to change some param and redeploy in a very fast and relable way.
And yes, docker outperform ansible on a lot of use-cases in my humble opinion.
