This seems to select for people who have a balance of insight on the issues themselves and on the whims of the public - whether by data, experience or a hunch. Is that something meaningful or helpful to home in on? I’m not convinced..
- kuramitropolis 4y agoI would argue that "the whims of the public" is the most significant political issue there is. You're basically saying this selects for people who have good theory of mind at scale; I fail to see how having more of those is a bad thing.
