What does this app actually do? What’s the underlying problem it’s fixing and how? Every time I has this issue relaunching my finder fixes it.
I hope/want to assume that it’s doing something more than just restarting finder as it costs 10 usd.
- smih 4y agoCleans the cache of the quick look. I don't exactly know why the problem happens in the first place. I think it may be happening because of full memory, full cache. There may be an interrupt of that cache cleaning cycle when we put the machine on sleep. Because it happens more when there is a lot of heavy background processes(multiple developing environments, youtube, a lot of tabs) and you wake the computer back from sleep after long time. But this is just an assumption. It does not restart/relaunch the Finder. But the solution is the same. Just makes it start working, no other features. About the price, thanks for the comment, I may consider a permanent discount.
