We don’t need more parking. It’s a waste of space and very expensive compared to more public transportation. By all means allow people to build parking if they want to, but there’s no need for parking minimums. I don’t see how more central planning could help. Our central planners love to block housing unless it meets 100 different conflicting requirements they make up on the spot. Just let people build!
