- serf 4y agoby the way people on HN talk about adderall you'd presume that they're only familiar with the off-label college-drug stimulant use. stimulants like adderall are used precisely so that those of us that are unable to CAN slow down. That's exactly the effect that is sought and often times provided by stimulant prescriptions to ADD/ADHD sufferers. that's an aspect that I seem to always miss in any thread that mentions stimulant usage : it does have a role in medical well-being other than ensuring that you can get your math homework out the door.
