My personal experience is that I installed Audacity and it was a good application for recording and editing sound.
I installed Ardour and spent a couple of hours trying to get Jack to work or something like that and gave up.
- PaulDavisThe1st 4y agoArdour does not require JACK and has not for many years. Unfortunately the internet is riddled with out-of-date and inaccurate information which makes many people believe that it does.
