The article mentioned this, how important are nasal vaccines? There’s very little evidence that a nasal vaccine will somehow miraculously prevent transmissions. Just look at the flu vaccine, the efficacy between both is negligible in any age group. I get it’s important to research this topic for future applications (like mRNA before Covid). But posturing it as the US “losing its edge” sounds ridiculous.
- smt88 4y agoIt has nothing to do with efficacy. It's about how much easier it is to get people to accept a nasal spray than an injection.

- syntaxing 4y agoHas that helped for the flu shot? I don’t believe that has significantly made people want the vaccine more (at least in the US). It’s a nice option for those who already get it to change it up but not like it’s making people who weren’t getting them before to get them now.
