I’m also the father of a daughter and this makes my blood boil. Relating this back to the topic of life extension technology, one effect is that evil people will live longer. I’d wager that life extension technology would create an evolutionary advantage for evil people because they are more prone to power-seeking ideologies and therefore more likely to adopt the technology than conventionally morally good people, who would be more at peace with death.
