This is the basic tenet of capitalism - capital owners don’t need to work, the system is designed so they get more money simply by owning money.
- _yid9 4y agoCapital owners put their capital at risk in the hopes of generating more money. When “capital” can be created and deployed with no risk by people with no skin in the game, I’m not sure that’s actually “capitalism”, no?
- trasz 4y agoExcept their risk is all fake - it is nothing compared to actual risks of ordinary people who don’t have golden parachutes or spare millions.
