>The vast majority of farming in the USA and Britain is industrialised Where I grew up farming was not industrial to the extent it has become, and I never met any single person with allergies until I moved to the city, neither did we experience pandemics. I known this is not just my experience. Isn't there some value, to see how children grew up with access to grass and dirt, yet also to sanitary conditions inside the home, hospitals and schools? Perhaps it was due to the period of my childhood and the smaller nature of farming, plus it was a fairly wealthy part of the world considering.
