When I first saw this I thought “WHY”? It is worth knowing first that the art is untouched as it is protected by a glass barrier.
Next worth considering, they’re right about oil :/
You know, the North Sea (in which Britain rests) has been drained of oil since WWII. That’s an enormous deposit, all of which used up building an infrastructure that has since rusted and rotted away.
Looking forward, if we are to rebuild everything we depend upon every generation to come to establish our quality of life, this debt of resource will leave us in a predicament of incomprehensible disparity within these “kids” lifetime.
A reminder that we owe our comfortable convenient quality of life to oil (not how smart we are.) one gallon of oil contains the energy potential of one thousand man hours (converted to heat, work, or form of all things useful to us.)
Worth shouting about after all perhaps.
