- nostrademons 4y agoThe improvements in photovoltaics have been pretty stunning. Our neighbor got solar about 5-10 years ago. When our solar installer got here, he was like "I can tell those are old panels. Yours will take up about half the space theirs do and probably produce more power." Sure enough, we have half as many panels as they do and power the whole home with them.
