I will get down voted to oblivion but if you consider yourself a x080 customer and don't want less silicon in a 4080 12GB or the price hike for the 16GB. You have a very viable option of just keeping your current x080 for free. The 4090 is extremely good value for an extremely small group of people wanting ML or perhaps 8k gaming. Cards that will appeal more then a very select few will be released latter.
