Also don't let imposter syndrome get you. A manager's job is to make sure that those they manage have the tools they need to do their job. One of those 'tools' includes your comfort level. The fact that you are not comfortable is not a failing on your part or of your capabilities, but a failure of your manager to give you the tools you need to be comfortable. You aren't an imposter posing as an IT person. You are an IT person who has not been given the tools or time needed to do a potentially high impact, high visibility task. So yeah, just another day in IT :) You can do this. Remember how you eat an elephant, one bite at a time.
