That was quick and entirely unsurprising. But its a mistake for liz truss to throw him under the bus as she's equally culpable. If she had at least shown loyalty and consistency, she might have stood a chance as the markets will have known what's what.
And by the way, some of the law changes in this mini budget are actually quite good. But they've just been overwhelmed by noise.
- benj111 4y agoYou mean the bonus cap removal? Well it was put in place for a reason. It's only getting removed because we can't compete with Europe since Brexit, so it's really just a balm on a self inflicted wound.
