On a larger scale, I think Java's support for inheritance of interfaces was a mistake from the start.
- nine_k 4y agoInheritance of implementations is much worse %)
- pjmlp 4y agoThe industry at large has agreed that what is bad is inheritance of implementation, even hip languages like Rust support inheritance of interfaces, so Java isn't wrong there. And naturally the whole COM like OO ABIs also support it.
- JensRantil 4y agoGood point. We should use it mush much more sparingly then. ;)
