- Aromasin 4y agoThe Daily Mail is such a rag of a tabloid that even Wikipedia has banned it as a source of information. They've made inroads into the US, where they aren't associated with the knowledge of the long and checkered history that the UK knows it for, but just a brief peruse through this and their previous controversies will give you an inkling of the damage they've caused over the years in the pursuit of selling papers and propaganda: https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/daily-mail/ https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/daily-mail/ As for the second point, it's not as if the Tories make a song and dance about this. They run on a traditional right wing, low-tax manifesto that is of interest to people for a number of reasons. Nowhere do they specify that they want to take down the NHS because it's too much of a burden on the governments balance book, but their voting record and past action make that plan clear as day.
