Yep agree with most of what is written below, I am CTO at a listed company that is still very much a start-up (we went public too early IMO). I have infinite work and I expect the same to be true of most "start-ups". Likewise all of my team - never a shortage of work - even if all client work is done there are a billion internal product things to be worked on!
