Take a look at ‘nomagic’ or \V.

  From what I read before, it still has special meaning for backslash > Use of "\V" means that in the pattern after it only the backslash has a special meaning. "very nomagic" which is not "put whatever is in your clipboard and it will have no interpolation" thing from my PoV
