- simonh 4y agoThere's a lot of heat down there, and more is continually being generated through radioactive decay and tidal forces.
- 1letterunixname 4y agoI'm curious about the average radioscopic output of the entire Earth vs. the moon slowing the Earth down (several 10^12 W). I guess we would need temperature data at deeper depths than we have available.
- aitchnyu 4y agoIs this depleting heat away from the core or is this (more of) a rounding error in the core nuclear reaction to radiation process?
