So isn't it possible to work out how many more Republicans than Democrats died due to inadequate COVID policies? Those figures could then be used to calculate how many more votes Trump might have received if the COVID response had been different.
I know that there are important differences between the national popular vote, the electoral college vote, and the distribution of COVID patients, but it's worth pointing out that Trump apparently came within 44,000 votes (across Georgia, Arizona and Wisconsin) of getting a tie in the electoral college.
