- inglor_cz 4y agoMalinko. Smějící se bestie, jako vždycky.
- FearNotDaniel 4y agoFor those not already in on the joke (I wasn't) this is meme-based satire. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kr%C3%A1lovec_Region https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kr%C3%A1lovec_Region
- codelikeawolf 4y agoI wasn't in on the joke either, but once I saw the "Relax on the best beach in Královec" picture, I figured this either must be satire or someone needs to fire the marketing department.
- gnubison 4y ago“Mordor” and “little Mordor” on the map sealed the deal for me
- N19PEDL2 4y agoThis thing is getting out of hand: https://www.openstreetmap.org/?mlat=54.747&mlon=20.500#map=8/54.747/20.500 https://www.openstreetmap.org/?mlat=54.747&mlon=20.500#map=8...
- potatototoo99 4y agoMolon labe
- inglor_cz 4y agoLabe is, among others, Czech name for the river Elbe. Come and take our river :)
- Tepix 4y agoThis reminds me: Does anyone remember the 1987 Infocom adventure "Border Zone" with its hilarious Fortunate tourists guide and phrasebook "I am Frobnia"? I am fortunate to have a copy somewhere in my basement, but it is also available online of course: https://mocagh.org/infocom/borderzone-phrasebook.pdf https://mocagh.org/infocom/borderzone-phrasebook.pdf Ouzna gotcha!
- dainiusse 4y agoBeing a Lithuanian I love this new neighbourhood. So much better!
- mm007emko 4y agoomfg, the number of people who take seriously this originally innocent looking joke really haunts me. Originally it was a joke about referendums in Ukraine regions about joining Russian Federation which is viewed as an illegal annexation by most of us, Czechs. So the joke is "they can illegally annex part of other countries so let's illegally annex Königsberg which was established in 1255 in honour of our king, Ottokar 2nd of Bohemia". dpč, fakt mě děsí to, kolik lidí bere vážně tento původně nevinný vtípek. :-D
- t0bia_s 4y agoWhere is it taken seriously?
- MandieD 4y agoWhat’s the new name of the town recently known as Sovetsk, and more formerly known as Tilsit? Asking for a lovely elderly German who still has the latter on his passport as his birthplace…
- MandieD 4y agoAh, Tylže - a very sensible transliteration!
- rurban 4y agoBohemians dare to annex German ground? This will have consequences!
