Show HN: Wallpaper Does Not Exist
- Markoff 4y ago1024x512 wallpaper resolution is completely unusable for any device nowadays considering desktop display or smartphone resolution, make it at least Full HD so it will be usable at least for phones
- qwerty456127 4y agoI actually expected 3840×2160 :-(
- leeuw01 4y agoYeah, this is really a shame. Got a nice wallpaper which I wanted to set a background... only to find out the low resolution.
- askintml 4y agoYou are absolutely correct. Due to a problem with our server, we had to keep the image quality low. We will add full hd and 4k options as soon as possible.
- nailer 4y agoAsking for $1 to unlock a 4K 5K etc version would be reasonable (as long as the payment is easy).
- ale42 4y agoSome are quite hilarious, like a plane with impossible shape and pieces of wings detached from the rest (see https://thiswallpaperdoesnotexist.org/i/111-abstract-grey-horizontal.png https://thiswallpaperdoesnotexist.org/i/111-abstract-grey-ho...)... By the way, too bad the resolution is so low... maybe good on a phone but definitely not a on a 4K or even Full HD screen on a PC...
- askintml 4y agoYes, very funny pictures can come out, but there are very good results and it is only 1-2 clicks away :) 4k resolution will be added immediately. We kept the image quality low due to a problem with the server.
- nailer 4y agoCool. I guess you maybe don't speak English natively, I'd change: > Subscribe early beta and don't miss a discounts! Subscribe to the beta and get a discount when we launch!

- wiseleo 4y agoSome of them are very interesting, thank you. :)
- kevincox 4y agohttps://thiswallpaperdoesnotexist.org/i/164-sky-blue-vertical.png https://thiswallpaperdoesnotexist.org/i/164-sky-blue-vertica... looks very "inspired" by art that very much exists.
- ym496 4y agothis one is so sick https://thiswallpaperdoesnotexist.org/i/171-city-colorful-horizontal.png https://thiswallpaperdoesnotexist.org/i/171-city-colorful-ho...
