Personally I think supporting SMS is what's "out of touch". It's a legacy system that a huge chunk of their users won't have ever used in the app except possibly accidentally.
- jdiff 4y agoIt's no more legacy than FM Radio. Been around since the 30s, is undeniably ancient, but it's not legacy. SMS is not going anywhere in many parts of the world, it's actively supported and actively used.
- soulofmischief 4y agoCare to back up that conjecture with data? It's absurdly short-sighted to call SMS legacy.
