As a net, however without storage they will be relying on exporting energy when renewables are generating and importing it when they aren't There's plenty of demand across Europe for energy, so that's still a great thing, but they need those decent interconnects (and/or storage, or industry that can work with varying supply -- e.g generate green hydrogen when renewables are at excess, don't generate when there's lower demand)
