Probably true for some sites and not others. I would definitely say the more niche you go in subreddits, the more helpful people are, but that's not really true of Stack Overflow communities.
- miohtama 4y agoThe same effect can be accomplished on StackOverflow by more narrowly tagging questions to specific technology niches, so that it does not show up on the watch lists of generic moderators.
