I'm not sure to focus on an etymological classification based on generation of a population makes a lot of sense for advice for a specific industry over thinking about the actual split in the vastly smaller sub-group that work, have self selected to work, in a particular company or industry. Part of the equation, sure, perhaps, but perhaps changes in those that choose the company/industry could be provide a stronger basis for thoughtful comment or analysis. Or lacking that, just treat everyone as people and make your interaction case by case instead of being based on a short Fortune article
