I don't care about US vs. Russian propaganda. I don't care about what the US has done in the past. I care about the fact that a dictator sent his army to invade and commit genocide against a democracy in Europe completely unprovoked.

- senttoschool 4y agoSure. Stop drinking propaganda.
- inferiorhuman 4y agoFor anyone else following along at home, Cambridge Dictionary defines whataboutism thusly: The practice of answering a criticism or difficult question by making a similar criticism or asking a different but related question, typically starting with the words "What about?". If all "senttoschool" can contribute are low effort attempts at derailing a discussion about Tesla Musk's behavior, they don't really have anything to contribute at all. Elongated Muskrat's misdeeds are entirely independent of whatever salacious claims "senttoschool" is trying to make.
- senttoschool 4y agoYour only contribution here is "whataboutism". It's a low effort attempt at skirting the main point of my post in order to advance your propaganda.
- inferiorhuman 4y agoWhat, pray tell, was your point? Surely "leave private companies out of politics" wasn't your point since that's so absurd on its face. After all we're discussing a man who's already sold communication equipment made by his company to fuel the war effort.
- olliej 4y agoIf you are of the opinion that invading another country and kidnapping and murdering civilians en mass is a-ok, then you are on the side of that country. You don't get to take the support a country's warcrimes in one sentence, and then claim that you aren't on their side in the next. If you're talking about not being "pro-war", I am going to take your view as being the same as the people who said that we should just let hitler do what he wanted, as that would avoid more war.
- Mikeb85 4y ago> Someone drank a lot of propaganda... proving my point again... Did Russia not invade Ukraine? Is there some hidden history that the US managed to hide where Ukraine invaded Russia first and everything we're seeing from every firsthand source is wrong? Like, this the modern world where civilians, soldiers, everyone can post to the internet and share what's happening. And all these sources taken in their entirety support the Ukraine narrative, definitely not the Russian narrative. And maybe you need to watch MORE Russian propaganda just to get an idea of how incredibly absurd and detached from reality it really is....
